THE SUPPORT TEAM:
Diane Jacobson is the mama of our office and the community.
She has been masterminding everything and taking good care of us all for nearly 40 years.
I moved to Grass Valley in 2009 after marrying my husband Abe at Empire Mine State Park in 2009. We have three children, Maggie, Linc and Charlie. As a family we enjoy outdoor adventures and the kids are great at cheering for me in indoor soccer games!
I first came to know Dr. Heather and Jacobson Chiropractic when I was pregnant with my first child in 2011. I immediately felt better and Dr. Heather treated me through all of my three pregnancies. I love working for Jacobson Chiropractic because with the combined years of experience and wisdom, the doctors know how to treat people with respect. They have a passion to help our community feel better both physically and emotionally. I have seen that with good health comes happiness.
I am thrilled to bring my business and accounting experience to this office as well as my passion to help women along their journey to motherhood; I have 4 years experience working as a doula. This office is a happy space where I enjoy meeting new people, working with my colleagues, and be part of a team offering top quality healthcare to our community.
Elizabeth “Liz” Dreher, MS RDN
I was born and raised in Nevada County. I love living and growing in our beautiful community. I have always been interested in health, and have never stopped pursuing a healthier life. I studied primarily nutrition in college and graduate school, and have practiced as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2008. Dr. Dale’s book on Healthy Living and the Nourishing Traditions cookbook that my mother brought
home from the office one day influenced me in many positive directions. I have worked in many settings from pediatrics to the end of life, as a nutritionist. I was honored to join the compassionate team at Jacobson Chiropractic in the fall of 2017.
I hope to help grow our community offerings in nutrition and health coaching, as this unique office has always supported. I very much enjoy being a part of this office, and supporting wellness like we do. I also currently work as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for Hospice of the Foothills, and as a consultant for Gold Country Community Services. I love spending time with my beautiful family, and watching my son grow. I enjoy Russian style Kettle Bell lifting and find a good challenge in our local women’s triathlon, the Barbara Schmidt Millar (BSM) Celebration of Life Women’s Triathlon each September in Cascade Shores. I also serve on the BSM triathlon committee, planning this amazing event and helping to raise money for local women faced with needs surrounding a breast cancer diagnosis or screening.
